Your competitors change their pricing quietly. Know the same day.
Tierdiff checks up to 5 competitor pricing pages every day and emails you a clean, readable diff when a price, plan name, limit or feature line changes. Cookie banners, rotating testimonials and nav tweaks don't trigger alerts.
You usually find out from a customer.
Pricing pages get edited all the time, with no changelog and no announcement. When a competitor drops a price, adds a cheaper tier or moves a feature up a plan, you want to know before your next sales call.
No announcement
Price rises and plan reshuffles ship as a quiet page edit. Nobody on your team is checking five pricing pages every morning.
Generic watchers are noisy
Page-change tools alert on every rotating testimonial, cookie banner and date stamp. After a week, people stop reading the alerts.
No history
When someone asks "what did they charge last quarter?", there's no answer. Tierdiff keeps every version so you can see how their pricing has moved.
How it works
Built only for SaaS pricing pages, so it knows what a plan, a price and a limit look like.
Add up to 5 pages
Paste your competitors' pricing or plans URLs. That's the whole setup.
We snapshot daily
Every day we pull out plan names, prices with currency and billing period, limits and feature bullets, then store a clean snapshot.
You get a readable diff
We only email when something real changes, written like a person would say it:
"Pro: $49/mo → $59/mo"
What triggers an alert, and what doesn't
The hard part isn't fetching the page. It's knowing which changes matter.
We alert on
- Price changes, including monthly vs annual and per-seat
- New, removed or renamed plans
- Limit changes: "3 projects → 5 projects", "250 → 500 issues"
- Features added to, removed from or moved between plans
- Rows that change in plan comparison tables
We ignore
- Cookie and consent banners
- Rotating testimonials, logo walls and carousels
- Timestamps, countdowns and "updated" dates
- Navigation, footer and announcement-bar changes
- One-off A/B flickers (every change is re-checked before we email)

FAQ
What counts as a change?
A price (amount, currency, billing period or per-seat unit), a plan being added, removed or renamed, a limit changing (projects, seats, usage caps), or a feature line being added, removed or reworded within a plan. Layout, copy outside the pricing area, banners, testimonials, timestamps and navigation are ignored.
How often do you check?
Once a day. When we spot a change we fetch the page a second time to confirm it before emailing, which filters out A/B tests and flickering promos.
Which pages work?
Public SaaS pricing and plans pages, the kind anyone can open without logging in. Most render fine with a normal fetch. Some build their pricing with JavaScript, and we render those in a headless browser. If a page can't be read reliably, we'll tell you in your baseline report rather than send you bad alerts.
How is this different from a general page-change monitor?
General tools compare pixels or raw text, so a rotating quote or a new cookie banner looks like a change. Tierdiff pulls out the pricing structure (plans, prices, limits, features) and compares that, so the email says "Pro: $49 → $59" instead of showing you a wall of highlighted text.
What about privacy?
We store your email, the URLs you give us, and snapshots of those public pages. We don't sell data, we don't use ad trackers, and we never contact the companies you watch. Your watch list is private to you. See the privacy page.
Will the competitor know I'm watching?
No. We fetch public pages once a day like any visitor, and nothing about you is sent to them.
How do refunds and cancelling work?
Cancel anytime and you won't be billed again. In your first 7 days after paying, ask for a refund and you get all of it back, no questions asked.
